Empowering Learners Through Individual Attention

At EduSmart Academy in Strand, we don’t just teach subjects; we teach children. We understand that for many learners in Cape Town, the traditional “big school” environment can be overwhelming. That is why we have capped our class sizes to a maximum of 10–12 students.

This smaller footprint allows our educators to identify the “silent disabilities”—like ADHD or Dyslexia—that often go unnoticed in crowded classrooms. By creating a low-stress, high-support environment, we give our students the space to breathe and the courage to ask questions.

Blended Learning: The Best of Both Worlds

While we follow the CAPS curriculum, we believe in a forward-thinking “Blended Learning” model. In our Intermediate Phase (Grades 4–7), you’ll see our “Smarties” balancing traditional scripts with Google Classroom.

“Our goal is to equip every child with a digital ‘backpack.’ By the time they leave Grade 7, they aren’t just consumers of technology—they are proficient in Google Docs, Slides, and Sheets.” — EduSmart Leadership
