Futuresmart Africa – Supporting neurodiverse learners

Every Child Deserves a Future.
Sometimes, all they need is someone to believe in theirs. Imagine being a parent who knows your child is capable of so much more — but the educational environment they need is simply out of reach. Imagine watching your child struggle, not because they cannot learn, but because they learn differently.
This is why Futuresmart Africa exists.

We believe that being neurodiverse should never mean having fewer opportunities. Every child deserves a place where they are understood. A place where their strengths are recognised. A place where they can learn without feeling like they don’t belong. But the right education comes at a cost. For many families, specialised education and support are simply unaffordable.

That is where Futuresmart Africa NPC steps in.

Our goal is to provide bursary assistance to families who need help giving their children access to an educational environment designed around their individual needs. Our current goal is to support 10 learners — requiring approximately R750,000 each year. Behind that number are 10 children. 10 families. 10 futures. And there are more waiting. Your help can change a child’s story.

You can help us:
  • Sponsor a learner
  • Help a child access the specialised education they need
  • Improve our campuses
  • Help us create safe, engaging spaces where learners can learn, play and grow.
  • Provide resources
  • Support the educational tools and resources that make learning possible.
Partner with us:
Businesses and organisations can help through CSI initiatives, sponsorships and fundraising.
Spread the word:
Sometimes the most powerful donation is simply telling someone about the work we do. Your donation can make a difference. A donation to Futuresmart Africa is more than financial support. It can mean a child gets to remain in an environment where they feel safe and understood.
It can mean a parent no longer has to choose between what their child needs and what they can afford. It can help us create better facilities, provide essential resources and open opportunities for learners who deserve the chance to thrive. And there is another reason to give with confidence:
Futuresmart Africa NPC is a registered Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) and is approved to issue Section 18A tax certificates for qualifying donations.
This means that eligible donors may be able to claim their qualifying donation as a tax deduction, subject to the requirements of the Income Tax Act.
We will provide the appropriate Section 18A certificate for qualifying donations, giving donors both the opportunity to make a meaningful difference and, where applicable, receive a tax benefit.
10 children. 10 futures. One community.
Our current bursary goal is approximately R750,000 per year, But our vision is much bigger. We want to build a sustainable support system that means more children can access the education they need, more families can receive assistance, and our learning environment can continue to grow – You can help us get there. Whether you give R100, R1,000 or enough to sponsor an entire bursary, your contribution becomes part of something bigger.
A child’s education.
A family’s hope.
A future.
Donate. Sponsor. Partner. Share.
Be part of the reason a child gets their chance.
