Strand Golf Course, Western Cape (Save the date: 29 October 2026)
We are very excited to announce a brand-new event on the Edusmart Academy calendar — our first-ever Golf Day!
Arriving On 29 October 2026 at Strand Golf Course, the day promises to be a fantastic opportunity for businesses, partners, friends of Edusmart and golf enthusiasts to come together for a day of friendly competition, networking and lots of fun on the course.
Whether you are a seasoned player or simply looking for a great day out, we would love for you to join us!
How the day will work:
The event will be played in a 4-ball alliance format, with two scores counting.
We will also be playing a scramble drive format – This means that everyone in the 4-ball tees off, after which the team selects the best ball placement. All four players then play their next shot from that position. The process continues throughout the hole, making for an exciting and highly collaborative game!
The day will feature a shotgun start, getting everyone onto the course and ready for a memorable day of golf.
Prizes:
There will be plenty of opportunities to compete for additional prizes throughout the day:
- Longest Drive: Par 5s on holes 1–9 and 10–18.
- Closest to the Pin: Par 3s on holes 1–9 and 10–18.
So, whether you’re looking to showcase your driving distance or test your accuracy, there will be something to aim for!
Get Your Business Involved:
Businesses are invited to participate by purchasing a 4-ball and joining us for this special occasion; It is a wonderful opportunity to spend time with clients, colleagues and business partners whilst raising funds for a meaningful cause.
