Social Awareness
At Edusmart Academy, we look beyond the classroom to the world around us. We believe that learning to care for our community and environment is just as important as academic success. Our Social Responsibility Program is designed to foster empathy, giving our learners the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of others. Throughout the years, we have organised various drives to support causes close to our hearts right here in the Strand, Western Cape area. We are proud support:

- Strand Care Old Age Home: Building intergenerational connections by visiting and spending time with the elderly members of the local community – reaching out and showing our care.
- Santa’s Shoebox Project: Our Edusmart staff and students brought joy to the children of Morkel’s Cottage informal settlement in Rusthof, Strand Area in partnership with Smiling Child NPC in 2025.. Santa came early, bringing shoeboxes wrapped in Christmas cheer, filled with books and stationary and treats for students of this poor and underprivileged community. This is a project that will surely be repeated in the future.
HEY! Project: Edusmart Academy is proud to host the wonderful volunteers from the HEY! Project – a Christian worship initiative where its volunteers come to our campus to share the Word and lead our students. Edusmart NPC generously donates to this non-profit initiative every year.
